This Week's TarotScope 5/18-5/24 2026

Wow! What a week! It was an emotional moon phase from the last Full Moon to the New Moon of Saturday. At the end of this month, we will have been in our house an entire year and that is something to celebrate! So, naturally, the pump on our well gave up the ghost. I've already been stressed this week as it turned out that our cat, William, was indeed pregnant. The moment I discovered that we made a mistake in the gender of her sibling, Henry, we have kept them apart, but apparently not before the deed was done. it's a little confusing, so quickly, we adopted William and Henry from a friend who had taken in a pregnant, abandoned cat. Both friend and my daughter are big fans of Five NIght at Freddy's, both the games and the films. We thought we were taking two females and my daughter thought it would be rather cheeky to name them William Afton and Henry Emily, the founders of Freddy Fazbear's. So that is where it can be confusing, we thought we had two females, but they were given traditionally male names. Well, as it turns out, "sister Henry" is actually a brother. I was hopeful that William did not get pregnant before we separated them because she showed no obvious signs of pregnancy until this last week. We finally felt movement and she finally began to look like a small barrel. Very small. She had no pregnant roundness before this week. Saturday, when the well pump was replaced, William birthed two beautiful baby kittens! I was present for her delivery from the moment her water broke because rather than seeking out a place to have them in private, she wanted me with her. When her water broke, I carried her to her kitten box and sat with her for 2 hours while she gave the easiest birth we could hope for. She's a great mom and both kittens are thriving. Henry will be neutered next week and William will be spayed as soon as the kittens are weaned. I have pictures up on my Facebook and Instagram. At 8 weeks, both kittens will be up for homes, so please follow me on Facebook and Instagram to see the birth story posts, photos, and regular daily updates on their growth and message me if you are interested in taking a kitten. If not in the Panama City, Florida area you will need to travel to get them. Both are raised in a household with their parents, another cat, and 2 dogs, so they will be well socialized to fit in with any family!

When the well was fixed, I left an offering to the spirit of the well and life is slowly beginning to settle down. Was this past week also an emotional rollar coaster for you? How did you manage? Ready to take on the new energy of the week? Keep reading to find out!

XXII The Creator

The New Moon from this past weekend lingers with the energy of creation. Don’t be shy about starting fresh and starting with something that isn’t quite perfect. Trust the process and just enjoy creating with what you have on hand. The best creations are in making the most of mistakes, using the imperfections and making them beautiful. What are you willing to create this week? Are you going to let go of the fear of being imperfect to bring in something amazing? Now is the time to find out.

From The Thoth Tarot by Aleister Crowley

Energy of the Week: 8 of Disks (Prudence)

The energy coming in this week is brought forth from The Creator archetype. You have a vision and with your skills, and patience, you will bring to life something wonderful. This is the week to stay focused and to be consistent.

Challenge: 4 of Swords (Truce)

Your biggest challenge this week is learning to take that step back from what you are creating and evaluating what you have to see what needs to change. How flexible are you? How patient do you need to be? It all depends on you and your end goal. You can’t “fix” every problem, so learn to compromise. Where can you let go and what are you willing to embrace? The universe will have balance and life is a give and take.

Focus: Prince of Swords

This card shows an energy of high creativity, but it can easily become scattered if you don’t stay organized with what you are manifesting. Be clear and concise, especially where you will need to be flexible. Embrace change without getting too distracted. Don’t lose sight of the bigger picture among the details. Remember to be prudent.

Wrapping It All Up

Stay focused on what you want, but be flexible and don't lose sight of the end game. Not every detail needs to be perfect and it won't be. That's just life and it makes what you create even more awesome if you trust the end result. Stick to it. Don't give up if it's turning out not to be perfect. Embrace the perfection in imperfection.

Also, remember to follow me on Facebook and Instagram to see the kittens and to possibly bring one of these little love bugs into your family! Just message me if you are interested in giving a baby kitten a home once they are weaned.
