This Week's TarotScope 11/4 - 11/10 2024

Sorry for the lack of a blog post last week, I was working on two projects for classes and studying for an exam. I'm back, both have been turned in and the exam was passed! I'm on the final stretch of this semester with 2 more exams and 2 more projects. This has been a tough semester, learning to balance my life post divorce, living in a new city, rebuilding a client base in new city, and finding time for myself somewhere in there. Since May, I feel like I've been with road block after road block, just when I think I've got it right, I'm with the same road block! Instead of fully allowing myself to appreciate my unique (to me) situation, I've been pushing for things I'm not ready for, or rather, others are not ready for. So, I'm learning to slow things down and practice a little patience, realizing that I'm where I am for a reason that is bigger than me and trusting in that space. November is the perfect time of year to really evaluate our goals, which if you read on, you'll see that is exactly what the universe is asking of you now.

On the top left is a card of a lovely raccoon with the alchemical symbol of Earth, the inverted triangle with a line through the bottom third. Next to it depicts a Shaolin Master in a courtyard, the card on the right shows a green moth with the symbol for air, the inverse of the Earth symbol. Beneath the Shaolin Master card lies the Unicorn with the circular symbol of spirit.

Shaolin Master: Be Graceful in Movement and Action

They say that “only fools rush in.” Take this week and see how you can slow down and move within the flow. When we want something, especially when we want it desperately, we can often push it away from us if we try to manipulate manifestation too much. The universe has its own timeline as to when things are meant to come to us. If you are finding yourself challenged in not getting something you have been working at getting or manifesting, try letting go and moving gracefully within the flow. Breathe and let go of the emotional attachments you have toward the outcome of a situation or manifestation of a goal. Patience is key.

Monday-Tuesday: Raccoon

While you are being asked to proceed with patience and grace rather than forcing fate in manifesting something you want, be like the raccoon. Practice with your creativity. Reconnect with yourself. We often wear masks in life depending on the ‘role’ we are playing in any situation, such as relationships with friends, work, and our personal life. Our masks are important to us. It helps us retain some measure of personal privacy, but sometimes the masks become so much of a habit that we begin to question whether we are even seeing ourselves as we truly are. The goal we are being denied: is it possible it’s the goal that society thinks we should have? Are you ready to remove your mask and find out?

Wednesday-Thursday: Unicorn

The middle of the week will have you focusing on your beliefs. Yes, this is connected to your goals. Are  you reaching for a goal because you really believe that it should be yours or are you following a path laid down by others? What do you believe? What do you want? You deserve to be happy. Focus on your third eye chakra this week and trust what you see there.

Friday-The Weekend: Moth

You are definitely being reminded of the message of the Shaolin Master with this card over your weekend. Slow down. The grass is not necessarily greener on the other side. Take a time out and appreciate the garden you already have. Be mindful of where your mind is putting your energy. Reconnect with yourself. Breathe and flow.

What Does it All Mean for You?

Take your time. When you continue to hit the same challenges over and over, it's because you have been missing the point somehow. These things heal in layers. Ask your spiritual team and higher self to help you discover the deeper meaning of the challenge you face. Keep digging, keep asking the deeper questions. Slow down and find the answers you need.
