This Week's TarotScope 11/25 - 12/1 2024

I've had a busy week! Firstly, I made it to 50! Back on the 22nd I turned 50 years old and that is quite a milestone. I enjoyed my 40s and, honestly, it's interesting and a little sobering to look back on this year. In November of 2023, I had started looking into divorcing my husband. It was the last time my heart would be broken, though I didn't fully realize it at the time. While I was researching how to get divorced, I didn't think I'd fully go through with it. I started school in January 2024 and when I did so, I also went into counseling. So yes, it was the last time my heart would be broken. By May I had moved to Florida to start over. In June my divorce was final. I am still friends with my ex husband. He was and always will be the absolute love of my life. I don't expect to marry again and I don't want to. He will always have the very best of my heart. October turned out to have an unexpected shift for me as I finally let go of the last 24 years. I'm no longer afraid of starting a new life, no longer afraid of leaving everything I knew until now behind me. I still have moments of tears. I heard Sand by Dove Cameron for the first time a few days ago and it was like a punch in the gut. If Tortured Poets Department from Taylor Swift was my divorce soundtrack, Sand summed up my entire marriage.

So, where does that leave me now? I've spent most of the year trying to relocate myself within the eye of the storm of my heart that I'm not sure how to proceed now that there is some calm. If you are also trying to figure out how to proceed for next year as well, let's take a good look at this week's energy reading.

Hunter: Track Down Your Fears and Desires

I swear this deck never disappoints. I have been thinking a lot about my goals and fears this week. I’ve faced a few fears, or rather, I’ve acknowledged them and put a mental pin in them for later. I just wanted to finish out this term at school, but it looks like it’s time to face some of those fears, as for me, some are school related. Think about how you are limiting yourself this week. What is it that you most fear? Is what you most desire a part of that? You have an energy of strength and compassion with yourself coming in from your angels and ancestors this week. Put it to good use. Conquer your fears. Just jump in and do the hard thing. Do what you think may not be possible and  you may be surprised. Step up to the plate for your future and become your own hero and inspiration this week.

From Pocket Animal Spirit Tarot by Kim Krans

Monday-Tuesday: Unicorn

You are absolutely being drawn to see beyond what you thought was your reality. See yourself and your potential for who you really are. You are truly limitless. The energy of the Unicorn is in your third eye. Pay attention to your dreams and your situations in life and see the connection there and you will have the answers you seek.

Wednesday-Thursday: Frog

The Frog, along with the Unicorn, is a very healing animal to have in your corner. As a master of both earth and water you can expand your horizons. Know that as you face your fears this week, it is a time to heal old wounds. Look to the water to rejuvenate yourself. Focus on coming back to an emotional balance this week.

Friday-The Weekend: Hyena

Your courage this week may have you laughing at your fears, but your humor will only take you so far. At some point, you can’t keep hiding behind your sarcasm and you will have to face your challenges. Know that you do have the tools you need in order to do so. But a little humor never hurts. Keep your enemies guessing.

What Does It All Mean for You?

You have the courage and the tools you need to face what you need to. Find your deepest desire within your fears. Don't hold yourself back. Do what makes your sing and your soul rejoice.
