This Week's TarotScope 8/4 - 8/10 2025

I have officially finished college! I will be walking with my class in the spring, the ceremony is in May of 2026 for me, but I have wrapped up my very last class and finished with flying colors! I now have earned an Associates of Arts in Television and Radio Broadcasting and am currently researching for my first podcast episode due out in the October. I am taking this week to chill a bit. I've been so focused on school that now it's time to reorganize my life a little. As Mercury and Saturn are both in retrograde, it's as good a time as any for some introspection. Let's take a look together on what that means for humanity as a collective.

Lord: Take Charge with Authority

Take responsibility for yourself this week. Hold yourself accountable. Remember that you co create your destiny. It’s time to move forward, but make sure you know where you are moving from. Whether it’s  your thoughts, feelings, or actions, remember that you are the one responsible. If you desire respect, then give it. If you desire love, it starts within. 

Shaolin Master: Be Graceful in Movement and Action

As you are encouraged to master yourself and claim your responsibilities, do so with grace. The Lord is taking charge, but the Shaolin Master brings a sense of patience and thoughtful action to the picture. Take that step back and as you start to blame someone for your lot in life, think about that. Remember that you are responsible for where you are, your own feelings and actions. You have choices and you made them. Master yourself with grace.

What energy is brought forward: The Empress

Renewal and creative feminine energy is flowing through from last week to shape the energy of this week. Whatever you’ve got cooking, see it through until the end. Along with the Lord energy from Angels and Ancestors, you are asked to be responsible for whatever situation you create. See it through. Plan your next steps carefully and move with patience and grace. 

Challenges: Queen of Swords

Know your strength. It can be challenging to remember your strength when you are facing challenges. Remember to think things through. Make your move with purpose and intention. When dealing with difficult people this week, you don’t have to show your whole hand. Make them wonder. 

Focus: Prince of Disks

Prepare for what is coming. The Prince of Disks is a symbol of growth, so you’re coming back around to the completion of the Empress energy. Be ready to move forward for the next week. This week is more about personal growth as we are still in retrograde with both Mercury and Saturn. Saturn will continue to be in retrograde until November focusing you on introspection and personal growth. 

What Does It All Mean for You?

No one else is responsible for how you feel or what you think or the actions you take. Every day you have choices. Choose to be responsible for your own actions, feelings, and decisions. The responsibility does not lie with your ex lover or friend, or other family members. Whatever other people contribute to a situation, you still have free will and choice. Take charge of your own life and watch your luck transform!
