Believe it not, you're nearly done with shedding that energy from 2025. Stick with it. You're almost there! Also, for 2026, there are only 3 retrograde periods for Mercury, the first one being at the end of February, so while we may want to blame Mercury for this week, we're not quite there yet. Let's see how we're shedding that last bit of 2025 energy and where we need to focus. Don't worry, we'll get through this together.

XLVIII The Underworld

“The nightmare, the ordeal, the bottom.” You are in a vulnerable state this week. It’s nearing the end of the Year of the Snake, so the last of the shedding is occurring. This is a time where breakthroughs happen, but you want to take your time this week. Sit back and reflect. While this energy is an ending, it is also a beginning. A babe doesn’t run before it can walk. If you’re feeling depleted right now, that’s ok. Rest, renew, review. Do not underestimate your own strength this week. Every day is a choice in how you face it.

Energy of the week: Mother of Cups

As you traverse the underworld, know that you are not alone. You are a light within yourself to see through the darkness. Use this week to help nurture those you love who are taking this journey with you. Deepen friendships, relationships, and heal. 

Challenge: 4 of Wands

It may feel challenging to find joy in things this week, but there is joy and celebration to be had. You are at the end of a journey, the completion of a cycle and though you may feel raw and vulnerable, you’ve done it. You’ve come this far. Celebrate the little victories. Don’t look too far ahead or the light at the end of the tunnel may seem too far, but the distance is an illusion. 

Focus: 5 of Cups

Let go of grievances as you strengthen your relationships this week. Let go of the people who are not in alignment with you and embrace those who continue this journey with you. This is a week to heal all wounds and release yourself from the bonds that no longer serve you.
