This Week's TarotScope 1/26 -2/1 2026

What a week! It's been an emotional one for me. This past week my mother would have turned 71. Sadly, this coming June will mark 10 years since her transition, so I've been deeply in my feelings and missing her. As a medium, I know when she's with me, I know she visits, but it's not the same as when she was alive and we had daily phone calls and I could visit her. Honestly, everything has made me cry this week. It hit me yesterday that I don't know why I'm crying over every little thing. It's not depression, I feel fine. Just emotions welling up to the surface for no apparent reason. So I've taken some time to just get grounded, hydrate, and rest as well as simply to reconnect with myself to see what it is that is healing within me, what I'm releasing right now and allowing myself to cry. It really is soul cleansing. So, if you're in your feels this week, perhaps this reading will help you navigate through it.

Water Guardian: Connect with your emotions

Perhaps it’s the geomagnetic storms lately, but it has already been an emotional couple of days leading up to this week. Whatever you are feeling, acknowledge it. Don’t hide it or shove it to the background. Run a nice warm bath, get a cup or tea or glass of wine, relax and allow yourself to feel through these emotions. Don’t hide from “negative” emotions. Let yourself cry, it’s good to feel what you feel. There really are no “negative” or “positive” emotions, emotions just are. They, in and of themselves, are neutral and a good indicator of what you need at any given moment. So take a moment to feel what you feel, acknowledge the source, and allow yourself to heal. So have that ugly cry if you feel it. Tears are soul cleansing and you’ll be glad once it’s over as you will feel lighter and better for it. If it’s joy that you’re feeling, that’s awesome! Go out and play and spread your joy like glitter. Even anger is a catalyst for a much needed change. Anger, when used wisely, can be inspiring. Embrace your emotions without judgement.

Energy of the Week: 3 of Swords

Right in line with the Water Guardian, there is truth and an emotional release in store for you this week. The truth, no matter how painful, will set you free. Feel what you feel, have that ugly cry. You may be feeling rather raw once it’s all said and done, but you are now healing. Release what needs to be released and cleanse your soul.

Challenge: Daughter of Wands

While moving through all of the emotions of this week, your greatest challenge will be regaining your confidence. You are, by nature, a free spirit and there is no need to hold yourself back, emotionally or otherwise. Once you strip down to the bare emotions and release them, it’s time to reconnect with your authenticity.

Focus: The Empress

Focus on self care. Nurture yourself through this process of growth. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Stripped down to the bare bones, now you can rediscover who you are and who you want to be moving forward. As we move into February and gearing up for the Horse to follow the Snake, you are shedding the last bits of the old you this week. It’s time for your rebirth.

What Does It All Mean for You?

Don't worry about emotions being negative or positive or high vibrational or low vibrational. You are here for a human experience and that means experiencing emotions as they are. Without judgement. Give yourself some grace to feel what you feel so you can release and heal what you are meant to in order to understand yourself on a deeper level and grow. Every emotion has it's purpose, so don't ignore it or hide it. Explore it without fear and embrace your authentic self.
